My NeighborsGot Talent!

Hosted by NeighborsGo Richardson Community Columnist, Chris Coats

Is the kid next door the best gosh darn baton twirler around? Maybe your neighbor is the most amazing juggler that you’ve ever seen. Or perhaps at the last Crime Watch meeting the quiet guy down the street suddenly busts out an Italian opera that could rival Pavarotti’s.

Then I want to hear from you. Nominate your neighbor or yourself if you think you have what it takes for the “My NeighborsGot Talent” contest. No age limits. Just talented folks who believe they have what it takes to perform at Wildflower! on Saturday, May 16.

Auditions will be held Sunday, April 19 from 1 pm – 4 pm at the Richardson Senior Center (820 W. Arapaho). To sign up for auditions, drop me an email at ctcoats@aol.com. Please specify the contestant’s name, talent, and contact information.

To be eligible to enter, contestants must meet one of the following requirements: live in Richardson or the RISD, work in Richardson, or attend an RISD school or a private school in Richardson.

Finalists will be notified by Monday, April 27. Each will perform at Performance Row during Wildflower! on Saturday, May 16 from 4 pm – 5 pm. Local city officials and dignitaries will serve as judges. The winner will receive bragging rights, their picture in NeighborsGo, and a VIP Wildflower! Gift Package filled with prizes.

Don’t be shy! Sign up now for your time to shine!
