Where’s Wildflower!?

We are only a few minutes north of Dallas and are conveniently located off of Central Expressway (US 75) at the Galatyn Parkway exit. The actual address is 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson, 75082.

What bands are playing and what time?

What are the festival hours?

Friday, May 17 - 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, May 18 - 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday, May 19 - 12:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where do we purchase advance three-day passes, and how much are they?

Three-day passes are only $30 and are available at all DFW area Tom Thumb stores beginning April 15, or on-line through ClicknPrint Tickets beginning April 15. The three-day pass sales end Friday, May 17 at 5:30 p.m.

How do I purchase a single-day ticket?

Two options- you may purchase at the festival gateways or, beginning Monday, April 15, on-line through ClicknPrint Tickets. Please note that you can use ClicknPrint Ticketsduring the festival weekend to purchase your single-day tickets- there is no cut off date for this service.

Are tickets available at the gate?

Yes, but only single day tickets and kids’ passes will be available at the festival gates.

Are refunds given?

No, there are absolutely no refunds. Admission tickets are valid for their day of purchase only.

All musical acts, times and stage locations are subject to change or cancellation without notice.

What are the festival rules?

In the interest of public safety, please help us out by not bringing coolers, food, drinks, pets, contraband, weapons, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, laser pointers, Frisbees or professional camera equipment (any camera with a detachable lens). Each patron can bring in one factory sealed water bottle up to 1 liter. Snacks and drinks for toddlers will be allowed.

And our entertainment contracts disallow the following:

  • Video and audio recording equipment/devices within the designated concert zones.
  • Unauthorized sales, solicitations, and distributions are prohibited.
  • The backstage area is off-limits to the public.
  • Persons entering the site may be subject to search for any prohibited items.
  • The facility reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person violating the facility, local, state or federal laws or whose conduct is deemed illegal, disorderly, or offensive by management.

Is this a rain or shine event?

Yes, however some activities may be postponed or rescheduled to a later time during the day. If there is inclement weather please seek shelter in the on-site covered parking garages.

Where is handicap parking?

It's located on the east side of the festival site in the Bank of America parking lot (off of Glenville Drive, adjacent to the Gateway) and is designated on the festival's site map.

How do I get to the festival?

From Dallas Take US75 North (Central Expressway) and exit Galatyn Parkway/Renner Road in Richardson. The festival site is located just east of US 75 between Galatyn Parkway and Lookout Drive. Exit Galatyn Parkway and take a right. Follow the parking signs to either park on-site under covered parking or in the surrounding surface lots.

From Plano, Allen and Oklahoma Take US75 South (Central Expressway) and exit Galatyn Parkway/Campbell Road in Richardson. The festival site is located just east of US 75 between Galatyn Parkway and Lookout Drive. Exit Galatyn Parkway and take a left. Follow the parking signs to either park on-site under covered parking or in the surrounding surface lots.

Can I ride the DART rail?

You bet! Gateway II is adjacent to the Galatyn Park Station on the DART Red Line Light Rail system. Avoid traffic and just get on the Red Line from anywhere on the DART system. Can I pedal my bicycle to Wildflower?

Absolutely! Bike racks are available at the Gateway III entrance.

Where do we park?

Over 8,000 parking spaces are available in the immediate site area. Once you exit Galatyn Parkway signs will direct you to parking areas. There is a small fee ($5) for on-site covered parking and in the adjacent surface lots.

Where are the three main gates?

  • Bud Light Gateway (Will Call) - the Glenville Avenue entrance to Bank of America (just south of Lookout Drive).
  • Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas Gateway - the DART light rail stop at Galatyn Station
  • Credit Union of Texas Gateway - the intersection of Galatyn Parkway and Performance Drive.

Are there ATMs on site?

Yes, four. They are identified as "dollar signs" on the site map.

What is the Friends of the Festival program?

Our Friends of the Festival program allows individuals and small business owners the opportunity to become involved in the event through sponsorship. As a ‘Friend’, participants receive on-site recognition, two hospitality passes, a VIP parking pass, access to the special seating section near the main stages, and a festival souvenir poster. Are there activities for children?

You bet! The Kidz Korner was created to streeetch the artistic imaginations of our youth. This sprawling area is lined with music, art and interactive games designed to entertain, enlighten, and empower kids with hands on activities. Whether it’s singing on stage, making a craft or visual masterpiece, climbing the rock wall, exploring the Butterfly Tent or visiting the City of Richardson’s petting zoo, this popular family area is a must see and do attraction while at Wildflower!

What is there to do besides listening to the bands?

Lots! In addition to visiting the Kidz Korner Family Area, you can shop the Market Place (featuring vendors of all types), check out the City of Richardson's petting zoo, relax by the Courtyard Stage, get the latest official festival gear at the Wildflower! souvenir store, or go climb a rock (well, actually it's a climbing wall, but you get the idea!).

The Festival features strolling entertainers, acrobats, buskers, and plenty of other activities - there's always lots of Wild Stuff to do at Wildflower!

Oh, and don't forget to check out the Art Guitar Auction in the lobby of the Eisemann and check out the coolest water fountain this side of Vegas - shows take place hourly on the Plaza!

What should we wear?

This is an outdoor event in Texas during May. Weather changes rapidly, so be prepared and plan accordingly. Wear comfortable shoes, bring a hat during the day, don’t forget the sunscreen, and be sure to wear a watch so you don’t miss any of the cool bands!

If a parent loses a child, where should they go?

The Found Children's area is located at the Richardson Police Mobile Command Trailer and is a good place for your family to plan to meet up if anyone becomes separated. The Mobile Command Center is located at the south end of the Food Court near the Credit Union of Texas Gateway, and is marked by the number 7 on the Site Map.

The Information Booth serves as the Festival’s Lost and Found location. Lost and Found items are kept here until the festival gates close on Sunday night. After the festival ends, please call 972-744-4580 to inquire about Lost and Found items.

Is the site wheelchair accessible?

Yes.

Are lawn chairs/blankets allowed?

Yes, but please be respectful of others. Chairs should be low to the ground and have backs at shoulder height. Keep in mind that unless otherwise noted, this is “festival viewing” with no reserved seating and patrons may be standing in front of you during a performance. We want everyone to enjoy the concerts and have a great time. Be respectful of people around you and please share your space, get to know your neighbors, and make room for others.

Is smoking allowed at Wildflower?

For your convenience, smoking is allowed in designated smoking areas throughout the festival site; locations are identified on the site map.

Once I’ve entered the festival site, can I leave and return the same day?

Yes, but you will need to have your hand stamped when you exit. This stamp will allow you re-entry only for that particular day.

Is there overnight camping within the City of Richardson?

Unfortunately not, but there are two campgrounds in the area:

  • Lakeside Fishing and Camping in Rowlett - (972) 412-1455
  • Alvin Lafons RV Park in Princeton - (972) 736-2635

Is there designated parking for motorcycles at Wildflower?

Yes, motorcycle parking is available in the Bank of America parking lot at 2375 North Glenville, near the entrance to the Will Call Gateway (on the festival map).

How do I pay within Wildflower, cash or coupons?

All vendors accept cash, no coupons are needed at Wildflower! Besides, where would you RATHER be, in front of a stage or in line to buy coupons?
