TOP 10 FINALISTSThe Top 10 Finalists have been selected for the 2022 Wildflower! Al Johnson Performing Songwriter Contest. A panel screened and scored entries received from all over the country and narrowed it down from 100 to 10 talented songwriters. The final contest will be held live on Saturday, May 21 at 11:30 a.m. on the Singer Songwriter Stage inside the Eisemann Center at the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival.

Al Johnson was a longtime supporter of the song writing community and passed away in 2017. The contest continues in his memory.

** Must be utilized within 12 months after the 2022 Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival has concluded. All rights to music/studio recordings will be that of the First Place winner.
Top Ten Finalists Receive
- Invitation to perform in the live finals on the Singer Songwriter Stage at Wildflower! on May 21, 2022. Finalists must perform the two (2) songs submitted in the contest and may perform solo or invite a single accompanist (with no backup harmony or effects).
- Lodging for May 20 and 21, 2022.
- Wildflower! festival passes for the finalist and a guest.
- Green Room hospitality during performance time.
- Additional set at Wildflower! on the Cityline Stage.
- Opportunity of a lifetime to spend a weekend sharing songs with some of the best performing songwriters in the nation and if selected as a winner, participation in the Winner’s Showcase with the other selected winners.
