For more than three decades, Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival has been a place where live music, art, family traditions, and community come together. Today, we’re honored to share that Richardson residents have once again made their voices heard by voting Wildflower! Best Cultural Event and Best Live Music Event in the 2026 Best of Richardson Awards presented by Richardson Life Magazine.
This recognition belongs to everyone who helps make Wildflower! such a special weekend each spring.
To the thousands of festivalgoers who filled the stages, explored the marketplace, discovered local artists, cheered on emerging musicians, volunteered their time, and created lasting memories with family and friends… thank you.
Wildflower! has always been more than a music festival. It’s a celebration of community. From nationally recognized headliners and hometown performers to the Budding Talent Vocal Competition, Battle of the Bands, Performing Songwriter Contest, Marketplace vendors, food vendors, nonprofit partners, sponsors, and dedicated volunteers, every part of the festival contributes to an experience that is uniquely Richardson.
This award is especially meaningful because it reflects the voices of the community. Residents nominated and voted for the people, places, and events that make Richardson such a vibrant place to live, work, and play.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who cast a vote, attended the festival, and continues to support Wildflower! year after year.
Thank you, Richardson, for making Wildflower! your 2026 Best Cultural Event and Live Music Event.
We can’t wait to welcome you back next spring for another unforgettable weekend of live music, great food, local art, and memories made together.
