The Wildflower! Art Guitar Program & Auction committee is currently offering this custom designed work of art titled “Bass to the Bone.” The instrument was originally donated by KidKraft, designed by Crystal Elisondo, and featured in the annual charity auction on display May 15-17 inside The Eisemann Center during the Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival.

“Bass to the Bone” was unclaimed by the winning bidder and is now once again available to the public for a starting bid of $1,000 or the best offer received before 5:00 p.m. on July 3, 2015. Due to the size of the item, it must be picked up in person and will not be shipped or delivered.

Proceeds from the auction are tax-deductible and will benefit the NETWORK of Community Ministries and the fine arts programs in the secondary level of the Richardson Independent School District.

Built from wood and sheet metal, “Bass to the Bone” was cut by hand with a scroll saw, side details by knife, acrylic paint, airbrushed details, and is strung with neon green nylon weedwacker cord. The Rockabilly inspired design began with sketches that turned into 3D computer illustrations and includes more than 300 hours of artistic talent.

Individuals interested in previewing the instrument up-close may contact Suzanne Etman at the City of Richardson Community Events office located at 2100 E. Campbell Road or call 972-744-4584.
