Let the good times ROAR while you’re exploring the dinosaurs at Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival. The world’s most amazing species may be extinct; but this exhibit of animatronic animals look and sound like real creatures. They are designed and built in a facility here in Texas by an in-house team of designers, engineers, sculptors and artists – each highly skilled in their craft and passionate about dinosaurs.

From the smallest, Compsognathus to the 43-foot long Tyrannosaurus Rex, the beautifully crafted dinosaurs are impressive for all ages to experience. For a few days the festival will serve as their natural habitat and everyone who attends may find themselves in the shadows of the predators. Guests are welcome to take pictures, videos, and learn more about prehistoric life and endangered wildlife.

Each dinosaur is fitted with its own electronic brain to activate and control the movements and to produce the sounds. The realistic movements on the dinosaurs are powered by a pneumatic system that enables smoother and finer movements.

Billings Productions is a world leader in the design and development of animatronic exhibits for zoos, museums and theme parks. The company was founded by Larry and Sandra Billings in September 2003 at a warehouse in Larry’s hometown of McKinney, Texas. With Larry’s passing in 2007, Sandra now runs the company from a 73,000-square-foot creature workshop in the city of Allen.

They are among a handful of companies in the world that produce life-like, life-size animatronic dinosaurs and giant animatronic bugs for traveling and permanent exhibits. Billings Productions has the added distinction of specializing in creating animatronic creatures suited for both indoor and outdoor display. They also provide customized design and build services for a wide range of static and animatronic wildlife replicas.

Through their realistic, fun and entertaining exhibits, it is their hope that people of all ages will come to appreciate the prehistoric past and its lessons for our planet’s future.
